Vaccination Program for Layers and Broilers

 

Some Chicken diseases are too widely spread and so difficult to root out, and this

will demand for a routine vaccination program.

 

Generally speaking, all chicken flocks should be vaccinated against Marek's Disease, 

Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis, Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD; Gumboro), 

and Avian Encephalomyelitis (AE), that is, Bird Flu.

Chicken farmer’s vaccination schedule must depends upon many situations: 

such as disease exposures expected, Genetic immunities, vaccine types, and Daily 

managerment. Therefore, the exact vaccination program will be done according to

chicken farmer’s country and disease situations. Chicken farmer should work 

closed with local animal doctor to determine the best vaccination program for 

your own use.

The Following program is only a basic program where breeders received an 

inactivated Newcastle-Bronchitis-IBD vaccine.

Note-2: Only one AE vaccination is required, You can choose on either at 10 or 13 weeks. 

            AE Vaccine can be given in water, or by wing web in combination with pox.
